Freebie: CU Leap Day Stickers

Well, in 15 minutes it'll be Leap Day here in Hong Kong. To celebrate this special day (well... other than the fact that it only comes once every 4 years, it really isn't that special, but I digress), I've prepared a CU freebie for you guys! Click on the link below to download.

The elements are all about 3" big. You can use them for anything, no credit needed. Just read the TOU included and don't claim them as your own or redistribute. :)

Happy Leap Day!

Freebie - Blue Chrysanthemum washi tapes

I bring you another freebie today. Washi tapes! I was just adding a new set to my shop, but I couldn't help making the tapes as well.

These are 4 to 6 inches long, so the files are quite big. I made them with these wonderful brushes: http://www.fuzzimo.com/free-old-sticky-tape-textures-ps-brushes/ Be sure to go and visit the wonderful and resourceful site. The brushes and textures found there are CU friendly. :)

Now, on to the freebie! Simple click on the image to download.

Freebie - Lakeside Dream Mini Kit

Happy Valentine's Day! I have been hard at work lately. Though I haven't updated much about my progress, I've indeed succeeded in creating not one, but two kits in the past week.

First, I made a kit with the Vintage Candy papers I made previously. They have been selling pretty well on Etsy, so I decided to make them into a full kit. I'm looking for someone to test it and make some layouts with it. If you're interested in playing with the kit, please leave a comment.

Then, I made a mini kit for the Stuff to Scrap February Color Challenge. This kit will remain free until the end of the month.

If you do make something out of the kit, I'd love to see it! Please share in the comments!

Inspirational Sunday

I've decided (quite randomly) that Sundays from now on will be "Inspirational Sundays," where I look around at things other people have made, rather than to make things myself. I don't know if that's a good decision or not. I looked through the first 2 pages of freebies on Craft Crave and spent about 5 hours doing so.

Again, not sure if Inspirational Sunday is a good idea or not. LOL.

But I did get super inspired and full of things I'd like to make this week! Mostly I want to complete a full kit. Let's see how that goes...

This week's best inspiration: the LDS blog train.

Their theme for January was "Choose the Right," as per the Primary theme of 2012. Seeing how I've served in the Primary for over 2 years now, I really love this theme! Our song this year, "As a Child of God," penned by Janice Kapp Perry, is also great. :) I'd love to work on this theme later on.

But one thing at a time. Full mini-kit this week, hopefully!

Freebie - Rainbow heart ribbon/border

Today's my 4th wedding anniversary. How time flies! It was just like yesterday when he first walked into the Reading/Writing Center looking for a tutor. I had no idea what would happen between us when I proofread that paper of his.

We didn't do anything special because the man had to go to school. Oh well. I made some heart ribbons instead. Seeing how it's almost Valentine's Day, I think it's fitting.

They can be found here at my Etsy shop.

I really like the colors, especially the fuchsia one.

After fiddling with the colors and having the hardest time deciding what I wanted to use, I decided to make a rainbow one so I could have all the colors. Haha. I'm offering it for free. Download it by clicking on the picture or link below.

The ribbons are 12" long on transparent background. You can use them for personal use or small commercial use. Credit is nice but not necessary. Enjoy!
